Waiting

I wait for you by meadows of clover
And the dawn comes its colors singing of a new day,
I wait for you, your voice on the wind,
While a hot moon shines through the tallest pines,
I wait for you, my hands picking roses,
From gardens where no one else has been,
I wait for you by springs of clear water,
So clear, the sun is transparent in their depths,
I wait for you in the evening,
When twilight hangs like a milky mist over the world,
I wait for you, while rainbows,
Rest on daffodil covered hills,
I wait for you,
I always will,,
